TrueNAS restic

TrueNAS restic is a personal backup tool used only by its owner.

It copies the owner's own files from a home NAS to the owner's own Google Drive, using restic and rclone. It asks for the drive.file scope, so it can see only the files it created itself.

Privacy

• The app collects no data from anyone.
• It shares no data with anyone, and has no users other than its owner.
• Backups are encrypted with restic before upload. Google sees only encrypted data.
• Nothing is stored anywhere other than the owner's NAS and the owner's Google Drive.
